Lapalala stretches over 100,000 acres, one of the last true wilderness areas left in South Africa. The reserve is crossed by the Palala River which rises in the Waterberg and winds its way for 50 kilometers through this unspoilt and uninhabited area.

The archeological experience presents stunning bushman paintings dotted along the many cliff faces, whilst the game experience offers buffalo, a varied multitude of antelope, leopard and black and white rhino.

Ants bush camp, the newest addition to the "Ant Collection”, is situated on a high bluff, overlooking the Palala river valley, with tantalizing views towards the west, framed in the ever changing light of its folding hills and ridges.

You will travel back in time when viewing the rare bushman paintings and archeological sites, then return to your cozy relaxed home in the bush, a truly authentic tented camp with full en suite facilities, perched on decking overhanging the bluff.

Ants Bush Camp is a wonderful getaway for a small group of friends or family seeking the rare experience of a great African wilderness.
