Explore Gorongosa is an exclusive camp in the heart of the Gorongosa National Park in central Mozambique and is the only operation offering private safaris in this untouched wilderness. The national park was once the wildlife gem of Mozambique before it was devastated during the Civil War. However, plans to restore the game and the wilderness have been put in place, as Gorongosa looks to reclaim it’s former glory.
Accommodation is in four canvas tents catering for a maximum of eight guests, so you can enjoy an exclusive experience. Each tent offers twin or double beds, mosquito nets, a clothes rack, suitcase stand, vanity table and stool and side tables - not exactly basic camping! Activities included walking, canoeing and game drives.
