Pulse Africa launches innovative gourmet wine packages to the Cape Region, South Africa.
Champagne and oysters at Harbour House, Confit duck at River Café, Tapas at Steenberg’s Bistro 1682 and Karoo lamb at Monneaux Restaurant; these are just a few of the hand-picked and in some instances, award winning restaurants in the new Pulse Africa Gourmet and Wine Packages. Designed for the discerning traveller, with the option to tailor make, these itineraries not only introduce travellers to the fine wines and excellent cuisine of the Cape Region but include a number of wine tastings and private cellar tours along the way. First time travellers will be awestruck by the scenic beauty of the area, the warm South African welcome and the wide choice of optional activities available. For the regular visitor to the Cape region, many hidden treasures will be revealed. While the itinerary focuses on Cape Town and the traditional wine growing regions of Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, there is also the option to include lesser known (but equally as good) wineries such as Almenkerk and Tokara in the Elgin Valley.
