Jock Safari Lodge - Kruger National Park - South Africa - Mpumalanga Province
Jock Safari Lodge is the first private lodge set in the heart of Africa's premier wildlife reserve, the Kruger National Park. The lodge is located at the confluence of the Mitomeni and the Biyamiti rivers in the southern region of the park. The lodge has an exclusive traversing area of 6000 hectares within this spectacular reserve.
The theme of the lodge reflects the era of the first gold rush through the old Transvaal and the book 'Jock of the Bushveld' written by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick. Accommodation is in twelve luxury suites offering guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness.
Safaris are taken in open Land Rovers with professional rangers and trackers who will offer you close encounters with the Africa's spectacular wildlife. Walking and birding safaris may also be taken on walking trails through their exclusive concession area.
