Little Mombo Camp - Okavango - Botswana

Little Mombo is built on the north-western tip of Chief's Island, on the same island as Mombo main camp, and is a smaller, more intimate option. Though it only has three rooms, Little Mombo has its own dining room, kitchen, lounge and swimming pool. The tents are en suite and raised off the ground, with no luxury spared in the décor and facilities. Wooden walkways link the rooms to the main living and dining areas, and offer breathtaking views of the plains, with giant umbrella thorns and Ilala palms creating a magnificent savannah landscape.

The Mombo concession is renowned for its large concentrations of game, and as a year-round destination (for predators, and leopard in particular), has a record unequalled in Africa. Elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and cheetah are common in the region, and morning and afternoon game drives take guests on interesting explorations of the savannah and floodplains.
