Busanga Plains Bush Camp is situated overlooking the seasonally flooded Busanga plains in the northern part of the Kafue National Park. These plains are renowned for their herds of red lechwe and puku as well as resident lion and cheetah and huge pods of hippo. Bird life is varied and includes species such as the crowned and wattled cranes and a large variety of water birds.
Accommodation is in one of four thatched chalets with open-air en suite shower facilities. All have windows opening onto views of the open grasslands around. Activities take the form of day and night drives as well as picnics.The camp is seasonal and is open June to October/November, depending on water levels.
