One of the most exclusive camps on the Zambian side of the great Zambezi River, Sausage Tree Camp is nestled opposite the Mana Pools National Park, in the shade of towering sausage and mopane trees. Six large marquee style tents, with private outdoor facilities, are dotted along the river bank among creeping vines and tall trees and all overlook the water. Activities include fishing, birding, canoeing, game drives and guided walks.

The main guest area houses a library, dining area, swimming pool for those hot afternoons, a bar and fireplace. Meals are taken under a tarpaulin cover or at night under a canopy of twinkling African skies. Even the loo has a view!
