Galdessa - Tsavo - Kenya

Galdessa is situated on the Galana River in the vast and untamed Tsavo East National Park. The camp has two separate main areas where guests will have their meals and relax during their free time from activities, both of them located on the Galana River, where the majority of the game congregates during the dry season. Galdessa private camp on the downstream part of the camp has three bandas. Galdessa main camp, upstream, has twelve bandas.

Each of the spacious thatched bandas offers comfortable en suite accommodation. The canvas fronts open up during the day giving splendid views of the river and its resident bird and wildlife. Tsavo is famous for its man eating lions and its "red" elephants, as well as a breathtakingly diverse landscape. A stay here, in this peaceful and remote spot, offers clients a very special experience. Activities take the form of day and night drives and walks.
