Kinondo Kwetu is situated on the south coast of Kenya, one and a half hours drive south of Mombasa. With room for no more than thirty eight guests, the hotel is private and offers an ideal hideaway for honeymooners.
It is also the perfect place to gather family or friends for a private celebration or wedding. With two kitchens in separate buildings, the property can easily be divided into two, making it possible for private or corporate groups of ten, twenty, thirty or even forty to stay on their own. In the grounds there are two pools, one of them deep enough to allow training for PADI diving, three horses and a tennis court. Kinondo Kwetu's dhow and outriggers are out on the water, waiting to take you sailing.
Every room and cottage has its own personal character, as it is furnished and decorated with Swahili culture handicraft and antiques. All double rooms are equipped with king size beds, fans and mosquito nets.
Kinondo Kwetu is renowned for its cuisine, which benefits from locally produced fruits and vegetables. Three course lunches and dinners are served al fresco, with fresh fish and seafood being natural favourites.
Kinondo Kwetu works in harmony with the nearby village Kinondo and its inhabitants, many of whom work at the hotel.
