Kwandwe Private Game Lodge is situated in the Eastern Cape in a malaria-free area. Kwandwe Reserve is the culmination of a massive three-year restocking exercise, carried out in conjunction with an ambitious conservation plan to restore 16 000 hectares of degraded farmland to its pristine state. Animals include black and white rhino, buffalo, elephant, cheetah, lion, zebra, giraffe, springbok, blesbok, antelope, eland and blue wildebeest which are now all thriving in their new home. Uplands Homestead, a sensitively restored three-bedroom self-contained farmhouse set away from the main lodge, is ideal for a group or family of up to six. Here guests enjoy the pleasures of their own swimming pool and the personal attentions of their own butler, ranger, tracker and chef.
