Emily Moon River Lodge - Garden Route - South Africa

Emily Moon River Lodge is situated high on the southern bank of winding and spectacular Bitou River, within an easy four kilometres of the town and legendary, unspoiled beaches of Plettenberg Bay.

Each individual exclusive suite has a bathroom with separate shower, and a private deck with a stunning view of the wetland panorama. The sitting area has both a fireplace and ceiling fan, television, a mini-bar and a unique artists' mural celebrating nature gracing the wall.

Guests get together in a spacious sitting and dining area on a vast sundeck with a large swimming pool, and at the thatched rondavel bar to exchange each day's experiences – bird sightings, golf scores, salt or fresh water angling, canoeing, whale-watching, hiking or sun tanning. Nearby eco-trails offer walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders further opportunities to explore, watch, listen and photograph the unique and idyllic scenery, flora and fauna found along the Garden Route.
