Built in 1910, this historic Edwardian mansion has been restored to its former glory and is the flagship of the Shamwari Private Reserve. Accommodation is in en-suite luxury period rooms, all with air-conditioning or ceiling fans.
Long Lee Manor offers guests sweeping views of the valley towards The Bushman's River and the swimming pool area, tennis courts and gardens overlook the reserve. Meals are served in the old Edwardian dining room, under the stars in the garden, or around the hippo pool down by the river.
As well as being seeped in history, Shamwari is the largest malaria free game reserve in Africa. A multitude of game, bird and plant life offer a memorable African experience, whilst the well trained, exceptional staff ensure your stay will be unforgettable.
