The camp periodically moves location within the Greater Serengeti ecosystem according to game movement and weather patterns. This means the camp is not restricted to the boundaries of the Serengeti National Park but rather that it can be located within a much wider area, depending on the seasonal and ever changing game movements.

The camp is in the grand style of the traditional East African safaris of the early years.  Each of the six "Selous” sleeping tents are twelve x four metres, are insect proof with netting windows and zip up flaps. They are beautifully appointed and decorated with local fabrics and artefacts. Each contains comfortable large beds,  have dressing tables, a safari wardrobe, luggage racks and safari chairs. Each has bright rechargeable lights as well as a number of traditional hurricane lamps. At the front there is a large veranda with a table and safari chairs whilst at the back, the en suite bathroom incorporates hot and cold water on request, a short-drop sand toilet and traditional bucket shower.

There is a complimentary daily laundry service – weather permitting! The focus of the camp is a large dining tent with a shaded sitting area. There is a fully stocked complimentary bar, complete with ice, and a small Africana reference library and board games. Gather around the campfire in the evenings to share your days’ adventures with like minded souls. With only twelve guests in camp, you will have a personalised and unique experience.

The cuisine is of the highest standard with innovative menus using freshly supplied fruit and vegetables, all served on fine china and glassware with picnics, buffets and barbeques offering variety. Three course candlelit dinners are served either in the dining tent or under the stars and complimented by South African wines and liqueurs.
