Ants Hill derives it's name from the fact that it is built on one of the highest hills in the Waterberg. Views from the lodge are absolutely magical and are of plains, hills and gorges for as far as the eye can see.

Ant's Hill caters for a maximum of ten guests and can be booked on an exclusive basis. The emphasis at Ant's Hill is on offering guests a truly personal and flexible safari. There are no specific wake up times, guests can do what they want when they want, they can be as active or inactive as they like and more than one activity can be offered at any one time.

All rooms are scenically appointed and have their own private verandas with comfortable chairs and sofas from which to admire the views. The beds are heavenly… seven foot by seven foot four poster beds from Kenya made from olive wood, intricately carved to the finest detail. The lodge also has a full sized swimming pool, a much-needed refreshment after a day’s activities.

On the reserve there are over fifteen species of antelope, including nyala, sable and oryx as well as giraffe, rhino, countless other plains game and superb birds. The topography is incredibly diverse from mountains to open plains, and can be explored either on horseback, on foot or in 4x4 game drives vehicles, Other activities include visits to the Lapalala rhino sanctuary and bushman paintings, African craft shopping and helicopter rides amongst others.
