Situated in an unexplored valley near the small town of Stanford, just beyond Hermanus, is Blue Gum Country Estate. Comprising vineyards, pastures and a private mountain reserve for you to explore, Blue Gum also offers a host of activities from horse riding, walks on magnificent beaches, historic towns to explore at leisure and some of the best land based whale watching in the world at Hermanus. Blue Gum is an ideal retreat as well as a base from which to explore the area and the Southern most tip of Africa – Cape Agulhus.
All of the ten rooms have been luxuriously appointed and have private verandahs. Meals are an indulgent affair whether it is a generous country breakfast or a gourmet dinner served overlooking the vineyards.
