Jardin Vanille - Nosy Komba - Nosy Be & Islands - Madagascar

Jardin Vanille situated on the island of Nosy Komba, is a quaint lodge built into the hillside overlooking the ocean set amongst a well-established garden. The eight log cabin style rooms are charmingly simple. The one family suite is stunning and is a spacious, stand-alone unit on a private beach. All accommodation is ensuite. There are no fans or air conditioning however a constant breeze keeps temperatures manageable. Owner run and managed the lodge is able to offer diving, snorkelling; fishing and a host of land based excursions on the island itself, the mainland and Nosy Be.

There is a beach of fine sand below the hotel Two coves along, there is another with a reef, so you can go snorkelling straight from the beach. With luck, you will have marine turtles for company. The hotel can arrange excursions to the nearby marine island reserve of Nosy Tanikely, scuba diving and pirogue trips. It is noted for its deep-sea fishing, and you can also go fishing in a pirogue with some of the village fishermen. The walk through the forest, up the mountain, should not be missed.
