Mosaic lies on the eastern side of the Hermanus lagoon and offers a blend of country living, fabulous food and breathtaking views of the Overberg Mountains. They are extremely family friendly and offer a host of wonderful activities geared to children.

There are two properties on Mosaic Farm ~ the lodge and the two cottages. The lodge is tucked into an ancient milkwood grove on the banks of the lagoon and provides the ultimate privacy and hospitality for fourteen guests. Stone, thatch and natural materials from Mosaic are blended to maximize refreshing breezes, natural light and exquisite views in a unique style of eco-luxury. Each chalet has luxurious beds under netting, a large romantic tub, outdoor shower and wooden viewing deck. The main area houses a lapa, dining area and heated pool.

When staying at the lodge, your stay is inclusive of gourmet dinners, delicious breakfasts, sundowners, guided bird watching, kayaking and 4x4 beach trip (weather permitting; shore based whale watching in season). Picnic lunches and quad bike tours can be reserved at additional costs.

Duminy and Dumnichy cottages are located next to the Spookhuis and are surrounded by milkwood trees, fynbos gardens and abundant birdlife. Duminy Cottage is perfect for families with two en suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and dining area, a loft with five beds and a separate bathroom. This spacious house features a mix of natural finishes and glass, opening onto large porches and an upper deck with panoramic mountain and lagoon views. Duminchy Cottage is a smaller, croft style cottage that is better suited to a couple, but does have a loft with two children's beds.

The 1892 Spookhuis was in a complete state of ruin when Breese and Kathryn Johnson purchased the farm in 2002. An historic restoration has returned this enchanting manor house back to its original grandeur and it is now home to a fine restaurant, library, drawing room and loft-styled conference and wedding facility.

Mosaic is centrally located to take in area activities such as shark-cage-diving, the Klipgat archaeological cave (stone-age), Hermanus, the wine regions of the Hemel-en-Aarde and Walker Bay, Cape Agulhas as well as fishing and golf.
