Savanna Tented Safari Lodge - Mpumalanga - South Africa

Savanna is situated in the world renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which borders the famous Kruger National Park. The lodge strives to exceed guests' expectations of quality game viewing, fine hospitality, personal service and exceptional cuisine.

Savanna encompasses the very essence of an Out of Africa camp and accommodation includes three executive and four luxury tented suites which combine the romance of a tented roof, with the sophistication of a permanent structure that ensures luxury and privacy. The Savanna Suite is a traditional thatch roofed building designed to offer high levels of elegance and comfort.

Landrovers that have been expertly modified to ensure your safety and comfort are used for game drives. To maximize photographic opportunities there are never more than two people in a row on the Landrovers and never more than two vehicles at a sighting. The afternoon game drive is purposefully interrupted for sundowners to witness an African sunset, and the absolute peace and quiet of the bush. Optional walking safaris are conducted daily, in order to experience the beauty and fascination of Africa's flora and fauna.

As part of an on going outreach programme, Savanna has targeted two village schools in the Gazankulu area as beneficiaries for donations and funding. Guests visiting Savanna are offered an authentic Shangaan Village tour. Of the rate charged for this tour, Savanna has added on an amount which is kept for the specific purpose of assisting the two schools with equipment and general upkeep.
