Ol Kanjau Camp - Kenya - Amboseli - Chyulu Hills
Ol Kanjau is situated at the end of Africa's largest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, adjacent to Amboseli National Park. The surrounding area is owned by Kisongo Masai pastoralists, who benefit directly from guests' visits to Ol Kanjau. Mike and Judy Rainy have worked as ecologists in Kenya since 1968 and they are still active in large-scale ecosystem research. Their research focuses on how Amboseli wildlife interacts with the Masai people and their livestock. A traditional safari style tented camp, it is kept as simple as possible with accommodation in six spacious and luxurious tents. They all have large comfortable beds and safari style bathrooms with bucket showers and hot water is always available. Activities include game drives into the Amboseli National Park.
