Montagne d'Ambre Lodge - Madagascar - Northern Madagascar
The volcanic massif of Montagne d’ ambre ranges in altitude from 850m to 1475m and has its own microclimate, with a rainfall equal to the eastern region of the country. There are tall trees, orchids, unusual birds, and an assortment of reptiles, amphibians and insects. Both subspecies of the brown lemur - Sanfords and Crowned are found in the reserve. Accommodation is provided in a simple lodge built in the style of a large house with double and triple bedrooms. Bathrooms are shared and consist of hand held showers and flushing toilets. A communal kitchen offers all the necessary appliances. Your Pulse Africa cook will prepare excellent meals while your guide will be available for any forest excursions you may wish to enjoy.
