Club Makokola - Malawi - Lake Malawi
Club Makokola is situated on the southern lakeshore of Lake Malawi. It is ideal as a base from which to set of to explore rural Malawi. The culture and tradition of the people of Africa are as fascinating as the abundant wildlife of this continent. From Club Makokola it is also possible to sail down the lake and though the Shire River to Mvuu Lodge and Camp on board the 22-metre yacht, the MV Sunbird. Club Makokola offers a wide range of excursions as well as an excellent selection of sports both on water and on land. The Mlambe Golf Course is probably the most scenic in the country! Every year it hosts the only Pro-Am Tournament in Malawi. The hotel also boasts an airstrip that receives regular flights.
