Marlin Lodge - Benguerra Island - Mozambique - The Bazaruto Archipelago

Marlin Lodge is situated on the southwest shore of Benguerra Island, the second largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago. This unspoilt area offers some of the finest scuba diving sites and some of the best deep-sea fishing in the world. The lodge comprises nineteen chalets - all built on stilts with wooden decks, reed walls and thatched roofs. All rooms are connected by elevated walkways and are en suite with their own private veranda and a wooden walkway leading down to the beach. The lodge also offers a swimming pool and a beautiful recreation area. Experienced chefs prepare dinners, consisting of a wide array of seafood specialties. Wonderful palm trees set in indigenous gardens surround the whole lodge, and the sea views are spectacular. Outings of scuba diving and snorkelling combined with a picnic lunch on one of the many beautiful island beach locations are very popular. Other activities include ocean-ski paddling, windsurfing, hobiecat sailing and island drives.
