Sossusvlei Lodge is nestled in a small valley in the Namib Desert. Accommodation is in basic en suite tented bungalows. The rooms are painted in earthy hues, harmonising with their surroundings; some light blue, some ochre, and some orange. The rooms all have a small private veranda, with chairs and table - wonderful in the summer evenings, and for sunrises and sunsets. The central reception area houses a bar, swimming pool, dining room, barbecue boma and a tour desk. There is a waterhole in front of the property that is shaded during the day and lit by a small floodlight in the evenings.
