Skeleton Coast Safaris - Namibia - The Skeleton Coast
Skeleton Coast Safaris is a company owned and operated by the Schoeman family that specializes in taking clients to undeveloped and remote wilderness areas of the Namibia. A major feature of these safaris is the unique combination between flight and driven excursions each day. Guests are exclusively accommodated in three fully equipped privately owned desert camps. The first camp is in the lower reaches of the Huab River in Damaraland, the second under the Camelthorn trees in the Hoarusib Valley in Kaokoland, and the third and last camp to be visited during the safari is on the perennial Kunene River near the border with Angola.
Each safari is hosted by a Schoeman family member, who also fulfils the role of guide, pilot, driver and host. This unique feature, combined with the Schoemans' lifetime experience and passion for this fascinating part of the world, has gained them international recognition with discerning travellers as being one of the worlds most sought after safaris for that once in a lifetime experience.
