Alphonse Island Lodge - Outlying Islands - Seychelles

Alphonse Resort Hotel on Alphonse Island lies 450 kilometres due south of Mahe Island.This small island is surrounded by a coral reef and is accessed by air from Mahe – a sixty minute flight. Various boat excursions will take you to nearby islands while snorkelling, fishing and scuba diving are available as is the chance to explore the island on foot or by bicycle.

The resort offers accommodation in one of thirty chalets or villas, all of which are conditioned and en suite.Relax by the pool, play tennis, have a drink at the poolside bar or sample the colourful cuisine in the restaurant- your time is yours to do with as you will. Apart from being one of the best areas in the world for fly-fishing, specifically for bone fish, the diving at Alphonse is quite superb. In addition, you can snorkel, canoe, windsurf, take a pedalo or take a cycle round the island with the resident naturalist.
