Pole Pole - Chole Bay - Tanzania - Mafia Island
Pole Pole, meaning ‘take it easy’ in Swahili, is a small and intimate resort set on its own private beach overlooking the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. The lodge comprises seven thatched wooden bungalows raised on stilts, with wide verandahs looking out to sea. The cottages are individually furnished and have an ensuite bathrooms. The resort focuses on providing a warm welcome, good food and a relaxed environment in which to unwind. 
Guests seeking activities will find some of East Africa's best snorkelling and diving on the exquisite coral reefs of Mafia Island Marine Reserve, as well as plenty of sea and land-based excursions around the archipelago.
