Rivertrees is a cosy inn set in ten acres of natural gardens along the Usa River. The gardens are home to a rich variety of bird life and the inn offers breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru and is the perfect starting point for a safari or a mountain climb. Visits to nearby villages and a coffee plantation, or horse riding can be arranged. There is a golf course available in nearby Arusha as well as tennis courts. Kilimanjaro International Airport is a mere 20 minutes away with daily connections to Europe and beyond. The charming old farmhouse is tastefully decorated and will make you feel at home. The eight guest rooms are comfortably furnished, have en-suite facilities and are located in the gardens or in the main farmhouse. Two river cottages offer private river decks, wood burning fireplaces and outside showers. Fine country meals, using fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits from the gardens are served on the spacious veranda or in the cosy dining room.
