Lake Manyara Tree Lodge - Tanzania - Lake Manyara National Park

Formerly called Maji Moto Camp and set in the shade of ancient mahogany trees next to Lake Manyara, this lodge comprises ten stilted tree-houses built of timber and makuti (palm fronds). Rooms are spacious with comfortable lounging areas on the decks. Each tree house has an outdoor shower, bath and double basins. A lakeshore sala is used for dinners, picnic lunches and sundowners. Activities include interpretive guided nature walks escorted by Masai askaris, forest birding walks and game drives.
