Hluhluwe River Lodge - North Coast - KwaZulu Natal - Coast - South Africa

Situated on the western shore of the park, Hluhluwe River Lodge overlooks the spectacular Hluhluwe floodplain and False Bay. Accommodation for sixteen people is in luxury thatched A-frame chalets, all en-suite and with open-air showers enclosed in a boma. Each chalet boasts a beautiful wooden viewing deck, from which guests can enjoy the surrounding woodlands.

The main lodge, which is built in colonial style, houses the central living and dining area, a large wooden viewing deck where sundowners are served in the evening, a swimming pool, library and outdoor boma. Activities to choose from at the lodge include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, lake cruises, birding excursions, walking safaris and fishing trips.
