Elephant House - Addo Elephant National Park - South Africa - Eastern Cape
The Elephant House is an exclusive thatched lodge in the sun-drenched Sundays River Valley on the edge of the Addo Elephant National Park. Courtyards and deep verandas furnished with antiques, Persian carpets and the owner's private collection of African art provide a wonderful ambience. Surrounded by rolling lawns and indigenous trees, this is the perfect retreat after a hot day in the bush. The eight rooms are individually decorated, are air-conditioned and either have private verandas, balconies or walled gardens. The resident ranger conducts daily game drives into Addo Elephant Park.
