Jock Safari Lodge - Kruger National Park - South Africa - Mpumalanga Province
Jock Safari Lodge was the first private lodge to open in the heart of the Kruger National Park, with an exclusive traversing area of 6,000 hectares. The theme of the lodge reflects the era of the first gold rush through the old Transvaal and the book "Jock of the Bushveld" written by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick. Accommodation is in twelve luxury suites offering guests the unique opportunity to experience the gracious style of old world elegance surrounded by unspoilt wilderness. Alternatively experience the real "days of old", sleeping out in a restored ox-wagon on the banks of the river. Safaris are taken in open Land Rovers and guests will be offered close encounters with Africa's spectacular wildlife. Walking and birding safaris may also be taken on walking trails through their exclusive concession area.
