Londolozi Founders Camp - Mpumalanga - South Africa

Founders Camp consists of seven chalets, all secluded in dense riverine forest overlooking the Sand River in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. The air-conditioned chalets feature en suite bathrooms, private wooden decks and an outdoor shower. Blending with the tree canopy, thatched split level dining and viewing decks are suspended above a quiet by-water of the river, where superb meals of Pan-African cuisine are served amidst a chorus of African birdsong.

A wooden walkway leads to a secluded thatched sala (lookout point) for unobtrusive game and bird viewing, and the pool and covered lounge offer additional areas to relax in. At Founders Camp, guests also have the choice of moonlit bush dinners and private bush breakfasts. Dinners are served in a clearing in the bush under a star-studded sky. The spectacular settings, visual impact and fairytale atmosphere of dining under the stars make for an unforgettable African experience.

Recently Londolozi Pioneer Camp was merged with Founders Camp and so there are now three chalets with plunge pools and are referred to as Founders Camp Superior Chalets.
