Little Garonga has three fully en-suite, thatched and air-conditioned suites, all situated around a central areas, a swimming pool and built-in BBQ area. Each suite has its own platform deck complete with hammock and is surrounded by ebony trees on the banks of a dry watercourse. Set at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains, this is a wilderness sanctuary for those seeking to nourish and rejuvenate their souls.
The Hambleden Suite (considered the main suite) has its own swimming pool, private indoor/outdoor lounge areas as well as its own two bed childrens room adjoining the main bedroom that can be closed off if not required. The Chiltern Suite can be found close by, while the Buckingham Suite lies on the far side of the main lounge.
The food at Little Garonga is a fusion of the resident chef's exceptional culinary skills and there is a varied selection of excellent South African wines, making every meal an unforgettable experience.
Your time at camp will be spent enjoying early morning and evening game drives and bush walks. Garonga offers guests an intimate wildlife experience that is conducted at your own pace. Whether engaged in tracking animals, learning about the trees, birds and the ways of nature or sleeping out under the stars, Garonga has created a safari for the soul. The reserve has four of the big five. Massages are also available in the thatched lapa with views out over the bush.
