Linkwasha - Zimbabwe - Hwange National Park
Hwange, Zimbabwe's largest National Park, lies to the south-east of the country. Famous for its large herds of elephant, the region also has a diversity of biomes, including teak forests, palm islands, savannah grasslands and acacia woodlands. Linkwasha is a 'Big Five' area, and provides magnificent birding opportunities with over four hundred bird species recorded. The camp is set in the most beautiful location in the middle of a vast plain overlooking a waterhole. There are also a number of hides in the area for close up game viewing. Accommodation is in seven large comfortable en-suite tents. The dining and sitting areas are under shady thatch and a viewing platform affords wonderful views across the plains. Children over the age of eight are welcome.
