Makalolo Plains - Zimbabwe - Hwange National Park
Makalolo Plains is situated in a remote area within the vast Hwange National Park. It is one of the few camps built within the park, and provides for excellent all year round game viewing. The entire camp is raised up on wooden boardwalks and platforms, giving guests excellent views over the waterhole and floodplain in front of the camp. In addition to game drives and walks guests can sit at a waterhole and watch the passing parade of animals as they come to quench their thirst. Accommodation is in nine large comfortable tents with en-suite facilities and an additional outdoor shower. Children over the age of eight are welcome.
