SWAKOPMUND [Namibia]
On the southwestern coast of Namibia, there is a wealth of quaint towns, unique atmosphere, desolated beaches, history, character and even nature reserves to revive flagging spirits and excite the imagination.
Swakopmund is the second biggest town of the country and a popular holiday destination. It features an interesting mix of German and bohemian influences and is a lively and attractive town on the edge of the desert. Great restaurants, quad biking in the dunes and dolphin cruises in nearby Walvis Bay are some of the activities available.
